Here at Heritage Mazda Towson, we’re starting to get excited about the 2022 lineup of Mazda vehicles. One SUV that we know a little bit about is the 2022 Mazda CX-5. Though it’s not set to arrive on our lot until this winter, our dealers were treated to a preview of the upcoming vehicles, and there’s a lot to like about it.
Redefining Refinement
The 2022 Mazda CX-5 is a Mazda SUV that feels like it’s tailored to you, with an exquisitely sculpted exterior and sophisticated interior space. The exterior design of the SUV draws inspiration from the automaker’s Kodo design philosophy and features:
- A redesigned front grille
- 19-inch alloy wheels
- Matched body-colored lower bumper and wheel arches
Zoom Ahead of the Pack
The Turbo version of the 2022 Mazda CX-5 will offer a distinct aesthetic that beckons to be driven. It’s equipped with:
- Gloss black grille
- Signature wing and lower bumpers
- 19-inch black alloy wheels
- Black leather interior with red stitching
One of the biggest changes to the SUV is the addition of i-Acitv AWD® coming standard across all trims. This engine technology allows you to drive confidently on a variety of surfaces, in a variety of different weather conditions. Also new is the Mazda Intelligent Drive Select technology, which allows you to customize your drive modes along various roads and surfaces.
Confidence Around Every Corner
The 2022 Mazda CX-5 will also come with a large suite of standard safety features. This includes a new feature called Traffic Jam Assist, and this unique technology enhances the Radar Cruise Control with low-speed steering assistance at speeds up to 40 miles per hour.
