The key difference between the two midsize SUVs is their passenger capacity. They are both similarly sized and have 141.6 cubic feet of passenger volume. However, the 2026 Mazda CX-70 prioritizes cargo space, leaving it with two rows of seating for five. The 2026 Mazda CX-90 has extra passenger space instead and includes three rows of seating with configurations for seven or eight people.
Premium Cabin Space
Both SUVs feature top-of-the-line cabins, although the 2026 Mazda CX-70 is premium right out of the gate. It comes standard with leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel. They’re both also available with Mazda Online Navigation™, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and a 12-speaker Bose® Centerpoint® surround sound system with AudioPilot®.
